Parador PoliceRP Rules

A.) General Rules

  1. Don't FailRP. To FailRP is to do anything unrealistic that defeats the purpose of role-playing. If someone has a gun pointed at you, you cannot pull out a gun. 
  2. Do not break New Life Rule (NLR) (5 minutes before returning to the area you died.) If you died at a raid you cannot return until the raid is over, this applies to all types of raids. This also applies to GOV
  3. Player disrespect is allowed on the server to, and from, other players. As long as you are not harassing/bullying them. Do not harass other players, attack them with IRL assumptions, or threaten to spread personal information. 
  4. Do not impersonate staff.
  5. Do not break the rules just because others do or use it to justify a rule-breaking action. You will be punished as well. 
  6. Do not interrupt Admin sits (If a player is in an Admin sit, you are not allowed to kill them or interfere in any way). 
  7. You MUST pick a proper RP name (You may use numbers to create a gang/family). 
  8. Street/nicknames are allowed. For example, Chicken 
  9. Title extensions to RP names are allowed. For example, Jack the Destroyer 
  10. Do not advertise other servers or games. 
  11. Do not use explicit materials/text screens. Staff can determine if a text screen’s content/location is allowed.
  12. Do not body block (Don't use your own body to block another player or entrance). 
  13. Do not scam (Don't trick other players into giving you money/items). 
  14. Do not copy or steal somebody else's name. This includes intentional similarities, reverse names, etc (Impersonation). Staff will determine what is acceptable
  15. All classes considered citizens may only have small weapons (Pistols) and any store-bought permanent weapons. Citizen classes are labeled in the job menu.
  16. All global communication must be done in English (At least keep OOC and /advert in English). 
  17. Do not chat or mic spam (This includes playing loud/annoying music through your mic).
  18. Do not Metagame (Using out of character information to your advantage. Example: Seeing someone type in OOC when will my printers give me money? to validate a warrant). POLICE DISCORD RTO IS NOT CONSIDERED METAGAMING. If you are handcuffed, or restrained you may not use discord or any other communication method other than your ingame mic to ask for help, or communicate your location. FearRp still applies and your kidnappers may order you to stop talking
  19. Do not abuse glitches (E.G: Looking through walls because of missing textures etc. If you find a glitch, inform a staff member). 
  20. Self-supply is allowed. (buying your own weapons as a gun dealer). 
  21. Use Common Sense (When in any situation, act appropriately and in a sensible manner).
  22. Listen to staff regarding all situations. They have the final say. 
  23. Do not role-play in spawn (Don't build/mug/kidnap/kill/pickpocket/raid/maze/taze in spawn).Spawn ends where the safe zone ends, if you are in a safezone you are in spawn.
  24. Do not run into spawn to avoid RP.
  25. You cannot revenge kill; this breaches NLR.
  26. Hitbox shielding/glitching is not permitted.
  27. You are only permitted 3 props for cover when raiding the bank, store, or PD. Use reasonably sized props. Fading doors are not permitted, and all points must be able to fit a 2x2 grid of players. If one ways are used you may not use them to quick peak people after finding their location.
  28. Cop baiting is not allowed (firing at cop cars, chasing them for no reason, repeatedly speeding past government trying to get a reaction, etc.). Whether something is cop baiting or not is up to staff.
  29. When any member runs from an active role-play situation they must re-initiate before they can continue the same role-play scenario. E.G Player A shoots at player B and player B runs away . Player B must reinitiate before killing player A. Same applies to any form of raids if you leave the property you are raiding(EX bank/pd) you will need to wait the advert cooldown before you can re-advert. However if you need to momentarily step out of the property to shoot someone that is acceptable.
  30. RDM is not allowed. RDM is Random Death-match, which means to kill someone without a sufficient role-play reason.
  31. Do not leave to avoid punishment by a staff member (LTAP). 
  32. Do not leave to avoid role-play, I.E. while being arrested. (LTARP).
  33. Racism/Sexism/Homophobia is not permitted, if you are making blatant/excessive Racist/Sexist/Homophobic remarks, you will be punished.
  34. Ban evasion/multi-accounting is not permitted.
  35. You are not allowed to place cameras/props while in an active RP situation.
  36. You may not kill members of your own team. If you do, make sure you advert crossfire (/advert crossfire).
  37. The /me command cannot dictate the actions of another player; nor can it control them or frame them. This is considered Powergaming.
  38. Do not spam any chats.
  39. Only use the @ chat if you really need help.
  40. If you have reached 5 active warns in one week; your sixth warn will be issued with an automatic 24-hour ban. 
  41. Abide by FearRP. Unlike other animals, we humans are aware of the future and our continuous existence, we avoid the loss of our life, injury, and pain. This is an online game, so players don't think too much about the loss of their character's life as they just respawn, but that leads to very bad roleplay. So, you must take this into account and roleplay fear. When a person is aiming at your with their gun, don't be so quick to pull your gun out and then complain to the admins about your death. A situation involving Fear RP can easily be resolved by reaching a negotiation.
  42. Gun dealers are permitted to use any weapon that they can sell.
  43. Bankers can use any gun they want only when there are no bank guards on.
  44. Bank guards can use any gun 
  45. You are able to use the lightsaber to travel, do not use force jump in combat.
  46. A lightsaber is considered a lethal weapon, and you may swap to another weapon during an RP situation (Kidnap, Mugging)
  47. For a lightsaber to be considered a lethal weapon, it must be fully extended (Saber out of handle), not holstered.
  48. Lightsabers may not be used to evade the police, or to evade RP combat.
  49. Please wait 10 seconds AFTER combat/RP is OVER, before using your force jump.
  50. You are not allowed to jump in the air with a lightsaber, then pull out a weapon to kill someone (While you are in midair.)\
  51. If someone is sniping you from a roof and there's no viable way to reach the top of the roof, you are allowed to force jump to get on the same roof to kill them.
  52. After being revived by an EMS you may not return to the same raid/combat, and you must surrender to law enforcement, you cannot attempt to run away from or shoot at law enforcement after being revived.
  53. You cannot do any major crimes (kidnaps,gen store robberies,bank raids, PD raids) if a global government meeting is ongoing.
  54. Shouldn't need to be said, but for those special players: YOU MAY NOT EXIT THE MAP. DO NOT BUILD UNDER THE MAP. DO NOT INTENTIONALLY GO OUTSIDE THE MAP. IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE THE MAP, ASK STAFF TO HELP YOU. IF YOU DO NOT, YOU WILL BE WARNED/BANNED.


  B.) Basing Rules

  1. Overall a base must be fair to the players raiding it. It is up to staff to determine what is fair.
  2. You only need one legitimate entrance. 
  3. Maximum of 3 fading doors per base. This includes button doors/money printer doors. 
  4. All enterable fading doors must have a functioning keypad placed near the fading door in plain sight. No fake keypads and/or keypads that lead to nowhere.
  5. All keypads must be active for at least 5 seconds, the maximum open delay is 2 seconds. 
  6. Do not build into public/others property. Your property is where your main door starts for buildings and structures. For isolated houses (like cabins) the property will start at the road that leads to the building from the main highway/trail. 
  7. Do not block off areas of the map (Don't build a base that covers or blocks off an entire area of the map). 
  8. Do not force players to jump or crouch (Players must be able to enter/move around your base without jumping or crouching). 
  9. You may build Kill On Sight (KOS) Zones (You may use text screens to build a small outline around your base entrance). 
  10. KOS signs must be clearly visible.
  11. Do not build mazes (Don't build your base in such a way that players find it difficult to find their way in or out). 
  12. Do not build sky bases. Sky bases consist of mainly large boxes in the air made of props. Using things like cliffs/polls/ to justify the architecture will not be accepted. You need to have at least 4 points of contact.
  13. You cannot keep printers/bitminers/drugs inside your base while having a building sign outside. So this means no way of making money while having a building sign.
  14. Do not build on the streets or in public areas (Unless your job allows it. Ex. Hobos), Certain bases can be approved without doors in certain areas, pending staff approval.
  15. You must own all of the doors inside your base (Unless there are not any ownable doors (See 16)). 
  16. Do not build traps or killboxes. A trap/killbox consists of blocking/limiting the players' movement so that they are unable to freely move around within a "reasonable" space, to make it a valid base, it needs to fit 4 people in a 2x2 area.
  17. Do not prop abuse (This means don't use the props to your advantage. For example, using them to head glitch/minge.) 
  18. Do not abuse buttons or hotkeys, you must enter your code in like everyone else. (Don't use buttons or hotkeys to quickly open a fading door to kill another player or when in an RP situation).
  19. Loitering = KOS signs are not allowed.
  20. If it is clear someone else is basing somewhere, you cannot then go in and take over the base. Do not claim doors in someone’s base if someone forgot. All doors must be owned by the person basing there.
  21. Mega bases are allowed if you can own all the doors. For megabases, there must be a different player that owns each house/shop/apartment within the megabase.(See also 16 if no doors available.) The mega base is still one base and can only have 3 fading doors
  22. KOS signs cannot single out specific groups or people. They must be kept to general "guidelines". For example: "KOS if over line/raiding tools out." 
  23. Invisible/Dark/Hard to See entrances are not permitted. 
  24. Sliding gates/doors/entrances are not permitted. 
  25. You are permitted to prop block within your own home, as long as there is a clear alternative entrance.
  26. If you are shooting through props the visibility to all players on either side must be the same. YOU MAY NOT make walls that you walk can through that provide sight to the other players at the last second. Crouch peaking/small shoot slots are not permitted. One way props are permitted ONLY if bullets are unable to pass through them and as long as they aren't used to quick peak players to see where their position is to then shoot them.
  27. For basing in the mountains the cabin and the shack leading into the mines counts as one base, someone cannot just come over and claim the shack and prevent access to the owner.
  28. Fading doors that lead into a base can only be one prop.


C.) Advert/Criminal Rules

  1. In order to carjack vehicles you must advert “Carjack” along with the name of the vehicle owner so they are aware their car is being carjacked. You also must advert before lockpicking/attempting to steal the vehicle.(Not in between or after, only before). 
  2. No chain adverts (Except Raid/Raid assist. You must specify when advertising; don't advertise Kidnap/Kidnap Assist/Counter Kidnap. Be specific on your advert).
  3. When raiding a base/genstore/bank/pd you must advert Raid/Raid assist, you also must be either inside of or right outside of the raid location to advert it. You must advert assist within 10 seconds of the raid advert in order for assisting to be applicable. All members assisting in any crime must advert assist.
  4. PD Raid/PD Raid Takeover/Bank Raid/Bank Raid Takeover has a 15-minute cooldown when used. You can raid both the Bank and PD in the 15 minutes as each of them have a separate cooldown, however, you must wait the 15 minutes before raiding that building again.
  5. Mugging, Kidnapping, and Carjacking is a 5-minute cooldown. 1 person per 5 minutes. The cooldown for Mugging, Kidnapping, and Carjacking the same person is 10 minutes.
  6. You can only raid pd if there is a 10% ratio of police online and there is no police trainings/meetings going on. 
  7. The max you can mug for is $5,000. The max you can hold someone ransom for (including hostages for bank/store... raids) is $25,000. You must give ample and fair time for the appropriate people to respond.
  8. It is not RDM if someone kills you if you are stealing from them, just make sure you advert steal ("/advert steal"). 
  9. Police may arrest you if you are picking a lock/cracking a keypad that does not belong to you. 
  10. Entering or heavily loitering a base uninvited makes you KOS (No warning is needed). 
  11. Do not mug someone with an explosive.
  12. You must advert "Counter Arrests".
  13. You cannot advert "counter arrest" until the suspect is in handcuffs.
  14. When kidnapped, all comms and weapons are stripped without needing to be stated, but still, make sure you advert it, because people normally seem to forget about it.
  15. A person can only be kidnapped for a maximum of 15 minutes (unless negotiations are ongoing).
  16. You cannot raid PD while training/tryouts/meetings are happening within it.
  17. You must advert all major crimes (This includes bank raids/pd raids/raiding).
  18. Criminal families may form unions/organizations, you can only belong to one family/organization.
  19. When advertising warnings, you must wait at least 3 seconds between each warning(must be 3 warnings as well) You don’t have to advert warnings in chat as long as you can prove you were verbally warning a player (ex. A video). 
  20. If backstabbing fellow raiders, you must wait until after you've obtained the money (e.g after you've taken the moneybags from the vault), this also includes when raiding a base to change the name, and have the necessary adverts.
  21. When doing a major crime, you must actively partake in the action of robbing or defending it and be on the building property. Ex: You may not snipe from outside of the raid/ far away. 
  22. Criminals may NOT assist, be allied with, or work with the police in any way. 
  23. You need a strong RP connection/affiliation with someone in order to counter their arrest. DO NOT RANDOMLY COUNTER ARREST. Examples of proper use: In a party or gang (same last name). It is up to the discretion of the staff member to decide if the counter was fair or not. 
  24. You cannot counter an action to take it over. You can only takeover raids by doing /advert takeover (bank/pd raid). You cant takeover gen stores as you cannot obtain money by taking it over. 
  25. You may not build after you advert bank raid as it is FailRP. (Get your props set up before adverting.)
  26. You must advert if you are going to assist in any crimes. 
  27. NPC Store raids do not need a main advert, only assists. 
  28. When doing adverts, you can have gimmick sentences or phrases as long as there is a clear statement of what the advert is in brackets, however keep them short, no need to spam the chat. Examples: "Allahu akbar (Terror)", "I'm coming for that booty (Raid)."
  29. When you kidnap someone you cannot kill them unless they: Do not cooperate, or hostage negotiations fail. "Hostage execution" is not a thing, you need a valid RP reason to kill your hostage. 
  30. You cannot raid a base with a building sign. Building signs prevent the base's owner(s) from holding any items of monetary value inside the base, thus making it a "pointless raid."
  31. You cannot kidnap any of the following jobs: NON TMRT EMS jobs & Police Cadets. Ems with “TMRT” in their names are allowed to be kidnapped. You may only harm NON TMRT EMS jobs if there is a valid reason (mugging,healing police mid raid/fight)
  32. If you want someone to kill you, advert "kill me."
  33. Do not kill unarmed/surrendered people. This also means when in PD property, if the person does not have a weapon out you are to arrest them. If you are past the lobby and within the police department you are AOS/KOS. The rooftop is automatically a KOS zone, and the fence is also a KOS zone but it is suggested you warn first.
  34. Carjacked vehicles may be respawned by the owner after 15 minutes.
  35. You may carjack police vehicles. (Not the SWAT Truck, Ambulances, and Fire Trucks) 
  36. As a stray dog, to attack someone, you must be in a party with someone who is getting shot at; to join their party you need to change your name to include the party name.
  37. You must be on the Domestic Terrorist Class in order to advert a Terror on a government building, also when assisting in Terror. ("/advert PD/State/FBI TERROR" "/advert PD/State/FB TERROR ASSIST"). 
  38. You can only counter/defend members of your own family/organization, like being mugged/kidnapped/arrested/shot at/raided.
  39. You are not allowed to takeover any sort of terror from a terrorist. ( For example.: PD Terror )
  40. The cooldown for raiding the same base is 15 minutes

D.) Car Rules

  1. Do not apply materials or trails to vehicles (Use the tuner feature at the car dealer instead). 
  2. Do not add props to vehicles.
  3. Do not use government skins or body groups on civilian vehicles.
  4. Do not use civilian skins on government vehicles (Unless on a job that allows you to use unmarked cars).
  5. When you are being carjacked/kidnapped, you must comply with the carjacker/kidnapper. You may role-play, but you do have to exit the vehicle if asked. Failure to do so breaches FearRP, but you can't carjack/kidnap a moving vehicle.
  6. All jobs may carjack their own vehicles back.
  7. A stolen vehicle can be sold (Maximum fee is $25,000). 
  8. Do not use your vehicle to block (Entrances or other players).
  9. If raiding, you may use your vehicle as a barricade (Do not stand inside the vehicle).
  10. Do not stand inside vehicles while lockpicking..
  11. You can only create a cop chase if you are WANTED (ex. Have wanted above your head or recently raided bank/pd/gen store). If you have dugs in your inventory you may not run unless asked by the officer "Do you have any illegal substances on you"? Being pulled over multiple times is not a valid reason to run.
  12. When pulled over, you cannot initiate a gunfight without a valid reason. For example, if you run a red light and get pulled over, you then have no reason to initiate a gunfight. However, if you're wanted by the police, then this would be a valid response. 
  13. Do not minge / intentionally ram other cars for no reason. This is FailRP. 
  14. Any job-specific vehicles can't be used to race/minge/spamming sirens. 
  15. You must yield to all emergency vehicles behind you trying to respond to a call or a raid unless you are wanted by the police via Evading Traffic stop or fleeing from a pursuit. Ex: There is an emergency vehicle with lights or sirens on you must pull over to the side and let the emergency vehicle through unless you are wanted by the police.


E.) Government Rules

  1. Do not apply materials or trails to vehicles (Use the tuner feature at the car dealer instead).
  2. Do not add props to vehicles.
  3. Do not use government skins or body groups on civilian vehicles. 
  4. Do not use civilian skins on government vehicles (Unless on a job that allows you to use unmarked cars).
  5. You can battering ram moving car, if the car has just started moving, or is moving very slowly.
  6. If raiding, you may use your vehicle as a barricade (Do not stand inside the vehicle). 
  7. Do not stand inside vehicles while lockpicking.    
  8. Any job-specific vehicles can't be used to race/minge/spamming sirens.


F.) Props, Tools, and Building 

  1. Do not abuse/spam tools (Rope, advanced duplicator, sound emitters, lights/lamps/camera etc.). 
  2. Do not abuse props (This includes: kill/push/climb/surf/trap/spam/minge). 
  3. Do not prop block connecting tunnels / main roads / underground. 
  4. Prop Tunnels and Mazes are not permitted.  
  5. Do not put frozen props on the road.  
  6. No double-dooring. Example: Placing a fading door over a pickable door. 
  7. Shooting through 1-way props will not be allowed, this means that when you shoot a player, you can't see him and he can't see you.
  8. Crouch peeking/walk-through/kill boxes are not permitted.


 H.) Laws

  1. These are the in-game laws. It's not against the server rules to break these, but they can make you AoS and possibly KoS. These laws are subject to change if there is an active President / Vice President.
  2. Do not print money unless you have permission from the government. (Only banks can get permission).
  3. Any weapon without a license can be taken from you.
  4. Hiding your identity can result in you being fined.
  5. Not following traffic laws can result in you being arrested and your vehicle impounded.
  6. All that other basic illegal IRL stuff is also illegal here.


I.) Gang Rules  

  1. The maximum a gang war can last is 10 minutes.
  2. A gang war is over when everyone has died.
  3. You cannot kill a member of another gang simply because they are a member of another gang. This is RDM.
  4. You may only commit criminal acts as a criminal class. Do not attempt to commit crimes as a citizen class. Criminal classes are labeled in the job list.
  5. Crips / Bloods may not team up under any circumstance.. 
  6. To start a gang war you need a higher rank on both gangs to agree to a war and to advert gang wars.
  7. Gang wars have a cooldown of 45 minutes. 


J.) Parties

  1. A party works in the form of having the same last name spelled correctly.
  2. All members of your party MUST have the same last name, this excludes gang members.
  3. You are allowed to shoot at other people shooting at your party/ gang. This can not break any other rules
  4. You need to be in the same party/ gang in order to officially base with someone. 
  5. You can only be part of one party/family.
